To submit a paper via the Elsevier Editorial System (EES), you must be registered with the journal. Click here for more information on EES registration.
Once you are registered, proceed as follows:
Please click on the Log in button on the top navigation bar.
Enter your username and password and click on Author login.
Once you have logged in to the system, you will be brought to the Author Main Menu. To submit a new manuscript, you should click Submit New Manuscript.
Complete all the necessary steps of the submission process and at the last step Attach Files please upload your manuscript (in an editable format -- Word .doc or LaTeX .tex), figures and tables etc. Non-electronic items relating to your submission should be sent directly to the Editor or Editorial Office. Contact details can be found on the Editorial Board listing or Guide for Authors on the journal homepage. Search for the journal homepage here.
When you are happy with the files uploaded, you can start the PDF generation process by clicking on Next.
While the PDF is created, the submission is moved to Submissions waiting for author's approval. The PDF will not open automatically but you will see a View submission link when the PDF is ready. You must click on View submission before you decide to approve, edit or remove the submission.
When you approve your submission, it will now be filed in the Submissions Being Processed list in your Author Main Menu.
